The Capricorn Bug – extremely rare in the UK – has been sent to The BugWorld Experience, having travelled to the NorthWest on a piece of Oak from France. It needs a mate! Let’s hope this story has a happy ending………

We like to think we know a fair bit about cakes thanks to our tasty client BakeMark UK - and this week we’re putting it to the test as we take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research. All clients and visitors be warned – you will be offered cake and coffee, it’s for a good cause!
Bushtucker trials a bugtastic success….

The Mere PR team came over all bug-eyed this week in Liverpool, managing a series of Bushtucker trials and challenging people to try some insect delicacies! To date, our brave Bushtucker trialists (who have sampled oven baked tarantula, barbequed worm, giant leaf cutter ants and thai curry flavoured crickets) have included journalists, hairdressers and taxi drivers – it could be you next! The trials have been to promote the BugWorld Experience, the UK’s first insectarium which allows visitors to get up close to – and even taste! – bugs from all over the world….
