Helping new routes get off to a flying start!

Mere PR account executive Rick Wheeldon was out and about across the Midlands recently to undertake a series of media desk drops to launch bmibaby’s new routes from East Midlands Airport to Munich and Cologne. Not known within the office as the type to readily give alcohol away, Rick delivered media gifts made up of German wine and Bratwurst sausage to key media contacts.

All in the course of a day’s work, Rick covered the length and breadth of the region touching down in Nottingham, Newark, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Derby and Buxton. I wonder if there was any of that nice German Riesling left at the end of the day for a rewarding drink?

Mere PR gets on its bike for client’s charity cycle challenge

Always going the extra mile for its clients, the energetic Mere PR team has just spent four days managing, and taking part in, a 2,000 mile charity bike ride.
Known as Tour de Cash Generator, the cycle relay is an annual campaign implemented by Mere PR on behalf of its client, Cash Generator, to support the children’s charity Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.
The Mere PR team kicked off the cycle relay from its Hale offices cycling a local route to raise in excess of £150 for the charity.
Director at Mere PR, Victoria Maltby commented: “We are always happy to go over and above for our clients and enjoyed putting a little pedal power into action to support a very worthy cause.”
